Get ready for a one-of-a-kind Chicago running experience at Run Mag Mile® 5K & 10K, presented by HOKA. On Saturday, September 12, 2026, runners will take over the city's most iconic corridor as Michigan Avenue is transformed into a traffic-free race course through the heart of downtown Chicago.

Parking is available in the nearby City of Elmhurst Parking lots.
Race Weekend

Location: The Shops at Roosevelt Collection, adjacent to Fleet Feet South Loop.
Race weekend packet pickup will be located adjacent to Fleet Feet South Loop
Race Weekend Packet Pickup Parking: Complimentary parking is available for up to 2 hours with validation available at Fleet Feet South Loop. This location is also accessible via the CTA. Red/Blue/Orange and Green Lines stop at Roosevelt, just a few blocks away from your packet pickup location.

Packet Mailing
Save time on packet pick-up by adding on packet mailing at registration! Already registered? Don’t worry! You can add it on through your EnMotive account by following these instructions.
The deadline to add packet mailing to your registration is August 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. Please note, we are unable to mail out packets after the packet mailing deadline has passed.

Gear Check

Time: 5:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Attach the Gear Check tab from the top of your bib to your bag that you are using along with a luggage tie. These will be provided at packet pick-up but can also be picked up from the Gear Check Tent or Information Tent.
Corrals
Start Corrals are located along Columbus Drive at Ida B. Wells. Corrals will open at 6:00 AM and close at 6:55 AM for both distances.
Corrals are marked on your bib with a letter of the alphabet. Please line up accordingly. You may move back in corrals, but not forward. All runners must maintain a minimum of 15-minute pace per mile.
Runners arriving late will not be allowed to participate.
Please note: baby joggers are NOT allowed on the course.

Age Groups
Age group awards will be given to the top three male and female winners in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 –79, 80-84, 85+.
Wheelchair Division
Overall Wheelchair awards will be given to the top male and female in the Wheelchair Division. See more information on participating in the Wheelchair Division.

Event Alert System
A color-coded Event Alert System (EAS) will communicate the status of course conditions to participants leading up to and on race day. The levels range from Low (green) to Moderate (yellow) to High (red) to Extreme (black) based primarily on the weather, as well as other conditions.
Email and website communication during race week will inform participants of the current Event Alert System status and provide preparation tips based on advance weather forecasts.
Updates will be made at the participant packet pick-up area and public address announcements.
On race day, the current Event Alert System status will be communicated via public address announcements and color-coded signs/flags at the start and finish areas, and along the course at aid station locations and locations around the stadium.
All participants should familiarize themselves with the Event Alert System prior to the race, remain alert for directions from race officials and announcers and take precautions to prepare properly for varying weather conditions on race day.
