Experience Chicago's Magnificent Mile® like never before. The Run Mag Mile®, presented by HOKA, 5K takes runners through the heart of downtown on the only race that completely closes Michigan Avenue to traffic, creating an unforgettable race-day experience filled with music, energy, and iconic city views.

Course Description

The USATF-certified 5K course starts on Ida B. Wells Drive just east of Buckingham Fountain and travels north through the heart of downtown Chicago. Runners will enjoy a unique out-and-back experience along Michigan Avenue, taking in iconic sights including the Chicago River, Tribune Tower, the Wrigley Building, and the historic Water Tower.

The course is fast, flat, and built for fun—making it ideal for chasing a new personal record or simply enjoying one of the most unique race experiences in the city. After crossing the finish line in Grant Park, runners can celebrate with live music, brunch treats, and the post-race festivities.
